The scope and type of collection and use of your data differ depending on whether you visit our website only to retrieve information or to use services offered by us:
For merely informational use of our website, it is generally not necessary for you to provide personal data.
Rather, in this case, we collect and use only those of your data that your internet browser automatically transmits to us, such as:
· Date and time of retrieval of one of our web pages
· Your browser type
· the browser settings
· the operating system used
· the last page you visited
· the amount of data transferred and the access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.) as well as
· Your IP address.
We collect and use this data during an informational visit exclusively in a non-personal form. This is done to enable the use of the web pages you have accessed, for statistical purposes and to improve our internet offer. The IP address is stored only for the duration of your visit, a personal evaluation does not take place. A combination of this data with other data sources is not carried out, and the data is deleted after a statistical evaluation. This is permissible in view of the Telemedia Act according to the decision of the European Court of Justice of 19.10.2016 (Ref.: C 582/14).
In order to use services offered by us, it may be necessary that you provide additional data. These are the data that are required for the respective processing. Further details can be provided voluntarily; they are marked as optional by us.
Part of the services is also provided in the Login area of the homepage.
The collection or use of your data is done for the purpose of providing the necessary service you requested.
Your data may be passed on to service providers supporting us, which we have carefully selected and obliged to comply with data protection laws. This can particularly include technical service providers or shipping service providers (Lettershop etc.).
Otherwise, your data will only be passed on to other third parties if this is legally permitted or if we have received your explicit consent for it.
Beyond the processing of services you requested, we would like to – of course only if you explicitly consent at a separate location – offer you an internet presence tailored to your interests and occasionally send you interesting news and notes about us by post or email (in the form of our newsletter) based on your data, and use your data for the necessary evaluation as well as for market research purposes. For this, it is technically necessary that we combine your incurred and provided data in usage profiles and evaluate these for the aforementioned purposes. This is done only internally and only for the aforementioned purposes.
For the publication of image material that is subject to your copyright or in which you are depicted, we may also need your consent.
You can give your consent separately. You can revoke it at any time with effect for the future.
Consent regarding cookies or advertising trackers is governed by the section below (§ 6 of this statement).
For our internet presence, we use the technology of cookies. Cookies are small text files that are sent by our web server to your browser during your visit to our web pages and stored by it on your computer for later retrieval. We also use so-called Web Beacons (invisible graphics). Through these Web Beacons, information such as the visit to our web pages can be evaluated. The information generated by cookies and Web Beacons about the use of this website (including the IP address of the users) and delivery of advertisements can also be transferred to servers of Google LLC in the European Union and the USA and stored there. (see No. 8). The transferred data cannot be merged with other data stored by you.
Whether cookies can be set and retrieved can be determined by the settings in your browser. For example, you can completely deactivate the storage of cookies in your browser, limit it to certain websites or configure your browser to automatically notify you as soon as a cookie is to be set and ask for feedback. For the full functionality of our internet presence, however, it is technically necessary to allow the mentioned session cookies.
From the entry into force of the General Data Protection Regulation on 25.05.2018, we will obtain your explicit consent for the use of cookies before their use.
We would like to point out that you can revoke any data protection consent you may have given us at any time with effect for the future. If there are legal requirements for the collection of data (e.g., registration on an architects list), there is no right of revocation.
Google Analytics
It is important to us to design our web pages as optimally as possible and thus make them attractive for our visitors. For this, it is necessary that we know which parts of it are received how by our visitors.
Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC ("Google"). Google Analytics also uses cookies, i.e., text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. In the event of the activation of IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide us with other services related to website and internet use.
The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link:

We also implement technical and organizational security measures to protect personal data that is collected or generated, in particular against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction, or attack by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
We provide various online forms and services that allow you to send personal data to us. These forms are protected against third-party viewing by the use of TLS encryption. The data that you enter or submit as a file can be stored and processed by us as agreed. If the use and processing of the data require the user's or third parties' consent, the consent can be revoked at any time without giving reasons. However, this may impair the fulfillment of the contract by us.
Depending on the service, you may be asked for various inputs for identification or to prevent misuse:
II. To prevent use by machines, so-called CAPTCHAS may be used, which contain images or tasks that cannot be processed by computer scripts.
We store personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose of data storage, unless legal retention periods or statutes of limitations for data potentially useful for legal prosecution oppose deletion (in this case, the processing of the data will be restricted according to Art. 18 GDPR).
